Terms of Use

1. Who may use it

• The service is currently available in Hong Kong only. Requests from elsewhere are refused.
• SafeSearch is on by default. You may turn it off, and doing so is your confirmation that you are 18 or older and accept responsibility for what you then see. Image search is always filtered at the strictest level regardless of that switch.
• Complying with the law where you are is your responsibility. The service operates under Hong Kong law and is not warranted to be lawful elsewhere.

2. How you may use it

• Manual queries from an ordinary browser, for personal or internal business reference.
• Setting the site as your browser's search engine — an OpenSearch description is provided.
• If you rely on a result, verify it at the source. Results are supplied in real time by a third party and are not pre-screened.

3. What is not allowed

The following are prohibited. We may apply the measures in section 4 immediately:

• Sending requests in volume by bot, crawler, script or any other non-manual means.
• Circumventing, or attempting to circumvent, rate limits, regional restrictions, SafeSearch or any access control.
• Reselling or redistributing our results, or using our endpoints as a backend for your own service.
• Reverse engineering, probing or interfering with the operation of the service, including attempting unauthorised access.
• Using the service to do anything unlawful in Hong Kong, or to infringe anyone's rights.
• Falsifying the origin of a request or otherwise disguising where it comes from.

4. What we may do

To keep the service available and prevent abuse, the following controls are in place. They may be applied automatically or by hand, without notice:

• Rate limiting per IP address; requests over the limit receive a 429 response.
• Blocking or challenging individual addresses or ranges at the Cloudflare edge.
• Restricting access by region.
• Removing individual URLs from results — see the Legal Notice.
• Suspending or terminating anyone's access where necessary, without notice and without compensation.

5. Availability

• The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of continuous, uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• It depends on third parties — results come from Brave Search and the network is served by Cloudflare. If those are interrupted, changed or withdrawn, the corresponding features stop working, and we are not liable for that.
• We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

6. What you type

• You are responsible for your queries, including whether they are lawful.
• Queries are recorded to run and improve the service; the fields and purposes are set out in the Privacy policy.
• Do not type identity card numbers, card numbers, passwords or other sensitive personal data into the search box — nothing in this service needs them.

7. Intellectual property

• The interface, code and layout of this site belong to MNV LIMITED.
• Content reached through results belongs to its respective owners; we claim no rights in it.
• These terms grant you no licence to any brand or mark.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service — including decisions taken in reliance on a result or an AI answer. Section 9 of the Legal Notice contains further disclaimers.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time and take effect when published. Material changes will be dated on this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
